About Me

I've always been a crazy cat lady and wannabe horse girl, but I'd never worked with pigs until Drs Burkey and Miller got me involved with nutrition research as an undergrad. I left UNL and never expected to work with pigs again, until I got hired at South Dakota State as a monogastric nutrition lab manager. I got my Masters at SDSU this summer in swine nutrition and welfare, and now have made a full circle back to UNL. About Me

If you asked my mother what I was like growing up, she would tell you I was the one of three that you never knew the location of. I was either helping a neighbor on their cattle operation, or running around the "woods" on foot, dirt-bike, or horseback.
