About Me
I'm from Normal, Illinois. I grew up on a small acreage in Carlock, IL where we had horses, dogs, and cats. I have a daughter Lauren who is a freshman Environmental Studies major at Illinois Wesleyan University. She runs cross country and track. My area of expertise is Companion Animal Nutrition. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and a guinea pig. I teach undergraduate classes related to companion animals, freshman orientation, and professional development for animal science.

How long have you worked in the department?
Since February of 2006 (16 years).
What do you enjoying outside of work?
I enjoy reading, hanging out with my dogs, visiting my nieces and nephews in Illinois. I serve on the board of a nonprofit soccer club that aims to help low income kids play club soccer. I enjoy watching sports especially Illinois basketball and women's soccer.
What is something most people don't know about you?
My grandparents had 19 kids so I have more cousins that you can count.
