2022 Nebraska College Rodeo Named Region Rodeo of the Year, Two Qualify for College National Finals Tuesday, May 10, 2022

Two members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rodeo team qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) after competing at the 63rd Annual Nebraska Cornhusker College Rodeo on May 6-7. The rodeo was also voted the Great Plains Region Rodeo of the Year by the coaches and captains of all of the region teams.

About Me
I grew up in New Jersey where the family farm centered around Christmas trees, sheep, and cattle. I came to Nebraska at 18 to attend the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, and received a Bachelor's in Mechanized Systems Management. My time spent here was mostly divided between the Rodeo Program, and working for the Ruminant Nutrition department. I currently live in Palmyra with my two dogs named Maggie and Goose.
What is your position in the department?

Research Tech III and Rodeo Advisor.

About Me
I'm from Normal, Illinois. I grew up on a small acreage in Carlock, IL where we had horses, dogs, and cats. I have a daughter Lauren who is a freshman Environmental Studies major at Illinois Wesleyan University. She runs cross country and track. My area of expertise is Companion Animal Nutrition. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and a guinea pig. I teach undergraduate classes related to companion animals, freshman orientation, and professional development for animal science.
