Three graduate students from the Department of Animal Science were recognized with awards and honors during the annual Graduate Fellowship and Awards Luncheon. The annual event celebrates remarkable achievements in research, teaching, mentorship and creative activity.

Shelby Davies Jenkins, a master's student studying ruminant nutrition under Dr. Mary Drewnoski, received the Outsanding Graduate Research and Creative Activities Award which recognizes excellence in graduate student research and creativity at Nebraska.

Caitlin Ross, a Ph.D. student studying Physiology under Dr. Brett White, was awarded a Dean's Fellowship. This award is given to advanced masters or doctoral students.

Alison Ermisch, a Ph.D. student studying Physiology under Dr. Jennifer Wood, was awarded a Fling Fellowship. This award is given to advanced masters or doctoral students.
