2024 Honoree Nominations
The University of Nebraska- Lincoln Block and Bridle Club is requesting nominations for the 2024 Block and Bridle Honoree. Nominations are encouraged from across the state of Nebraska for an individual who has contributed outstanding leadership and is a vital asset to the Nebraska animal industries.
As an Agriculture Industry leader, we ask for your assistance in identifying deserving recipients for this prestigious award and invite you to nominate an individual whom you feel fits the criteria. The 2024 nomination information is enclosed for your reference. Please feel free to forward nomination information to interested individuals who may have not received this letter. Nomination materials must be returned to Andi Hallberg, Block and Bridle Club Office Contact, A224 Animal Science Department, Lincoln, NE 68583-0908, due by Monday, February 6, 2023. Remember, a new and updated application needs to be submitted for nominees to be considered so that we can identify the most deserving candidate utilizing their most current accomplishments in the animal industry.
A committee composed of the Block and Bridle Club officers, Advisors, and the Animal Science Department Head will review the nominations and make the selection. The Honoree will be presented with a special gift at this year's Block and Bridle Club Honor's Banquet, where he or she will be the guest of honor. The Honoree's portrait will be permanently displayed in the Animal Science building in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus along with the portraits of those honored in previous years. This year's banquet will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the UNL East Campus Union.
The criteria for the nominations is below.
Thank you for your time and effort in helping us to select the 2023 Block and Bridle Honoree.
