The University of Nebraska's Block and Bridle Club is requesting nominations for the 85th annual Block and Bridle Honoree. Nominations are encouraged from across the state of Nebraska for an individual who has contributed outstanding leadership and is a vital asset to the Nebraska animal industries.
We ask for your assistance in identifying deserving recipients for this prestigious award and invite you to nominate an individual whom you feel fits the criteria. The 2019 nomination information is linked below for your reference. Please feel free to share this information to individuals who may be interested. Nomination materials must be returned to Andi Hallberg, Block and Bridle Club Office Contact, A224 Animal Science Department, Lincoln, NE 68583-0908 or email@example.com, due by Friday, February 8, 2019. Remember, a new and updated application needs to be submitted for nominees to be considered so we can identify the most deserving candidate utilizing their most current accomplishments in the animal industry.
A committee composed of the Block and Bridle Club officers, Advisors, and the Animal Science Department Head will review the nominations and make the selection. The Honoree will be presented with a special gift at this year’s Block and Bridle Club Honor’s Banquet, where he or she will be the guest of honor. The Honoree’s portrait will be permanently displayed in the Animal Science building in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus along with the portraits of those honored in previous years. This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Innovation Campus Banquet Hall.
The criteria for the nominations is attached.
Thank you for your time and effort in helping us to select the 85th annual Block and Bridle Honoree.
