Hodges Earns Academic All-America Honor, French Named Coach of the Year as Livestock Judging Team Closes Out 2023 at North American International Thursday, November 16, 2023
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Livestock Judging team closed out 2023 with a 6th High Team Overall finish at the North American International Livestock Expo, while team member Elizabeth Hodges was named a Senior Collegiate Academic All-American and head coach Blaine French was named Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Team Coach of the Year.
In addition to its overall team finish, they also placed as 6th high team in cattle and sheep and goats, and 7th high team in swine and reasons.
As individuals, Brett Forgy was 4th high individual overall, 2nd high individual in swine, 3rd high individual in reasons and sixth high individual in sheep and goats, and Ainsley Fischer finished as 5th high individual in cattle.
