About Me

My time is split between teaching the upper level equine related classes and producer horse programs. Thanks to the pandemic, I've become very involved in learning new ways to put our resources out in virtual formats. I work allot with eXtension Horses group to reach horse-owners nation wide. Also, I try to be very involved in the horse industry as an AQHA. APHA, NSBA judge, work with our Horse Judging team and was just named as a National Director for AQHA. My road here involved a BS from UNL in Animal Science/Ag Education, worked in the industry for about 3 years, then a MS from Texas A&M in Reproduction/Animal Science, and finally my PhD from K-State in Animal Science.
