Each year the University of Nebraska Block and Bridle Club celebrates its achievements and successes at the Block and Bridle Honors Banquet. The Annual is published that highlights the club’s many activities and experiences of the past year. The events reported represent long hours and hard work put forth by the Block and Bridle members, advisors, and others who are interested in the promotion of the Animal Science industry. It also illustrates the continued traditions of the Nebraska Chapter of the Block and Bridle Club. The Annual has historically been published in the Spring. As of 2021, the Annual will be published, in December, on a calendar year basis rather than an academic year basis.
The Historian is the officer in charge of creating, putting the Annual together and sending it to be printed. Each officer is required to submit an article about their position's accomplishment(s) over the year. Committee members are responsible for submitting articles and pictures about the event they were Chair’s of. The Historian, along with a committee, is responsible for obtaining advertising in the Annual to help pay for its publication.
