We are pleased to present the Fall 2020 Edition of the Animal Science Nsider. The year 2020 is one we will not soon forget due to all the complications associated with the novel human coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) commonly referred to as COVID-19. I could not be more proud of our students, faculty, staff and alumni for how they have navigated the necessary changes that occurred in our teaching and learning, research and outreach as a result of this pandemic. Caring, compassionate, resilient, gritty are a few words to describe what has been witnessed during the past eight months. In this edition you will read a few of the many stories which exemplify the great character of our people striving together for excellence during a pandemic.
