Glenn LewisGlenn Lewis

Mr. Lewis was born at Beaver Crossing and attended rural school in Seward County. He lived near Beaver Crossing until 1918, then moved to the Exeter community. He served as president of the Nebraska Livestock Feeders Association in 1953. He has received Distinguished Service Awards from the Nebraska Livestock Feeders Association and the Exeter Chamber of Commerce; the Agricultural Achievement Award from Ak-Sar-Ben; and the Swift Centennial Award.

In 1966 he was honored by the Nebraska Hall of Agricultural Achievement, being described as a man "known for his leadership and for his promotion of the livestock industry" as well as being "a good neighbor."

Mr. Lewis has been active in the Exeter Breeder's and Feeders Association, and has served as its president, and has been active in the Exeter Chamber of Commerce for many years.
