The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Equestrian Western team had five riders place in the top ten of across individual and team events at the 2026 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) Championships held in North Carolina.
As individuals, Faith Miller was the top finisher with an eighth place finish in rookie horsemanship, while Izzi Velinsky was a finalist for Back on Track High Point Rider. Morgan Roof and Paige Bunn were also finalists in level 1 and level 2 horsemanship, respectively.
In the team competition, Kylee Vrba placed seventh in beginner horsemanship, Avery Gossett and Addi Gropp were ninth in rookie horsemanship and ranch riding, respectively, and Velinsky was ninth in open horsemanship and 10th in open reining.
