The University of Nebraska-Lincoln equestrian hunt team opened its 2025-26 season in Laramie, Wyo., on October 18-19.
Nebraska was named reserve high point team on day one, with Sam Worm and Paige Bunn placing first in open on the flat and pre-novice equitation, respectively. Emerson Theisen placed second in limit on the flat.
On day two, Ellory Mayer was reserve rider in limit over fences, while Elly Samek and Nicole Dubas were second in intermediate over fences and pre-novice equitation, respectively.
The hunt team will travel to Fountain, Colo., on December 6-7 to compete at University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and Denver University, while the western team will travel to Fort Collins, Colo., on October 25-26 to compete at COlorado State University.
