The University of Nebraska-Lincoln equestrian hunt seat team ended its season in Fountain, Colo., following competition and regionals on March 14-15.
Mia Marenville was the top finisher in intermediate over fences and placed 2nd in intermediate on the flat. Brenna Wemhoff also finished in 2nd place in introductory equitation. Third place finishers for Nebraska were Elly Samek in intermediate over fences and intermediate on the flat, Vanessa Junquera in limit on the flat, Nicole Dubas in pre-novice equitation and Olivia Hansen in introductory equitation.
In regional competition on Sunday, Paige Bunn finished in the top ten in novice equitation.
The equestrian western team will return to postseaosn competition with Semi finals being held on March 21-22.
