Dr. Nirosh Aluthge has served as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Animal Science since 2022. He also serves as a journal reviewer for Journal of Animal Science, Frontiers in Veterinary Science, and Microbiology Spectrum.

My research interest is in studying host-gut microbiome interactions in humans and animals through the use of next-generation sequencing techniques and animal models.
