Research
My research includes evaluating cow-calf systems, determining nutrient needs for the young cow, improving longevity of the cowherd. Additionally, I evaluate stocker supplementation systems for improved profitability.
Extension
My extension work involves working with producers to develop rations and management systems to improve profitability based on their resources and university research results. I connect with producers through webinars and meetings, such as the Range Beef Cow Symposium. I also write articles that address current issues producers may be facing.
