Elizabeth (Ibby) Rodgers is an M.S. student with a specialization in physiology. Her research focus is on how the length of solitary turnout (unforced exercise) time relates to physiological stress in horses. A study focused on stereotypic behavior in horses related to their length of time in turnout utilizing measures such as heart rate variability, white blood cell property testing, and behavioral analysis to quantify stress.
She also serves as the assistant coach for the equestrian team.
