Research
My research is focused on the molecular biology of reproduction, specifically pertaining to oocyte and early embryo development. Currently, her research involves understanding the mechanisms of mRNA regulation by m6A RNA methylation during the oocyte-to-embryo transition. Using this knowledge, she aims to determine how exposure to oxidative stress during in vitro maturation of oocytes may disrupt mRNA methylation status via altered activity of the protein machinery involved in these processes.
