Meat Judging team at High Plains Contest 2025

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln meat judging team finished in sixth place at the Cargill High Plains contest on November 2.

The sixth place overall finish was paced by fifth place team finishes in lamb judging, pork judging, and reasons.

Grace Schlueter led Nebraska with a third place finish in placings and 10th place finish in beef judging and overall beef. Kennedy Parks and Kylie Beard both had perfect scores in specifications.

The team travels to Dakota City, Neb., on November 16 to compete at the International Meats Judging contest on November 16.
