Equestrian Hunt Seat Team Opens Season at Colorado Springs Horse Show

The equestrian hunt seat team opened up its season in Colorado Springs, Colo., on October 26-27.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln equestrian hunt seat team opened up its season at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs horse show on October 26-27.

On Saturday, Kaylie Piper finished in 1st place in the novice flat, while Sophia Winters, Elle Lunsford, and Olympia Gegg all finished in 2nd place in limit fences, limit flat, and pre-novice flat, respectively. On Sunday, Sophia Cerrone was first in the limit flat.

The team will return west for a hunt seat competition November 16-17 in Fountain, Colo.
