Eight students in the Department of Animal Science have been awarded Milton E. Mohr Awards for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Milton E. Mohr Awards Program recognizes outstanding students in the sciences of biotechnology and engineering based on their academic performance and potential for accomplishments in their specific field. The program was established in 1989 for students in the College of Engineering or Biotechnology degree programs. The scholarships and fellowships are made possible through an endowment to the University Foundation.
To be eligible for this year's award, students must have a graduation date no sooner than May 2026, an accumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater, and must be a full-time junior, senior, or graduate student (must be entering your 2nd year or beyond) enrolled in, as a primary major, a Biotechnology or Life Sciences Degree Program.
Award winners from animal science include Grant Fincham, Evan Hartman, Addison Hillman, Ashley Llewellyn, Olivier Munezero, Arianna Olivia, Grace Regier, and Grace Schlueter.
