Horse Judging is a fantastic way for students to learn more about the athletic performance markers in horsesand understand the horse showing world. Competitive horse judging combines learning how to evaluate horses in both performance and halter classes (conformation), combines with presenting oral reasons to justify the placing of a set of horses.
No experience is necessary and team members will learn how to describe the structure, movement, and compositional differences in horses related to their function, how to effectively communicate observed differences in horses, and how to appreciate the breadth and scope of the equine industry.
The team typically travels to four contests a year and conducts regularly scheduled practices and workouts.
