University of Nebraska "Bulls Worth Waiting For" Sale

The University of Nebraska "Bulls Worth Waiting For" Sale is sponsored by the Beef Cattle Merchandising class taught each spring in the Department of Animal Science. Students in this class get hands-on experience in advertising, catalog preparation, data collection and the management of a seedstock bull sale. The 220 cow NU Beef Teaching herd (located on the Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center (ENREC) near Mead, Nebraska) supplies the bulls and data for the class. Leading beef cattle breeders and other experts are invited to speak to our students throughout the spring semester.

Join us as we honor and celebrate the achievements of our alumni award winners, our Block and Bridle club honoree, and the achievements of our department teams.

5:30 p.m. - Dinner Buffet
6:00 p.m. - Award Program Starts

A silent auction will be held throughout the evening, and the live cake auction will begin following the awards program.
