Lincoln, Neb. —The Department of Animal Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host the 2024 Krutsinger Beef Scholars Summit on November 7, 2024, at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension, and Education Center (ENREEC) near Mead, Neb. Organized by senior students in the Krutsinger Beef Industry Scholars minor program, the summit will feature expert speakers, panels, and discussions that address critical topics in the beef industry.
Students in the program, through their ASCI 481 "Beef Summit" class, work closely with Nebraska Cattlemen, university faculty, and industry professionals to plan the event. This hands-on experience provides students with valuable industry insights and opportunities to build lasting connections.
