Lori Jaixen, a lecturer and equestrian team coach in the Department of Animal Science, was the recipient of a Certificate of Recognition for Contributions to Students at the 37th annual Family and Friends Recognition Awards on March 6th.
The awards are sponsored by the Division of Student Life, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Teaching Council and the Nebraska Parents and Family Association. Nominations are provided by families and friends of university students in consultation with their students to nominate a faculty or staff member who has made a significant contribution to their lives while at the University.
Jaixen is a three-time recipient of the award.
