The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Equestrian Western team collected a lot of hardware at Laramie County Community College to kick off its spring schedule on February 3-4.
The team earned high point honors on both days, while Christen Curtis earned high point rider honors on Saturday with a perfect score, and Anna Lampereur was named Reserve High Point Rider on both Saturday and Sunday.
Other individual highlights include Sarah Cox qualifying for regionals in level 1 horsemanship and Lampereur qualifying in open horsemanship. Izzi Velinsky aslo pointed out of rookie A into rookie B.
The western team will host regional competition on February 24th in the R.B. Warren Arena at the Animal Science Complex on East Campus.
