William H. (Bill) Rishel of North Platte, Neb., has been named the 2025 inductee of the prestigious Saddle & Sirloin Portrait Gallery, which is recognized as the Livestock Industry's Hall of Fame. Rishel will become the 380th member of this historic gallery and his portrait will be unveiled at an induction banquet to be hosted Nov. 16 during the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky.
Rishel, the 2015 Nebraska Block and Bridle Club honoree, has built Rishel Angus into nationally and internationally recognized operation and has received special recognition for its commitment to identification and improvement of carcass merit, including producing a groundbreaking purebred bull that today has more than 3 million registered descendants going 11 generations back. Rishel can make both of those assertions.
