If you are looking to become aware of current day information and want to show off your knowledge of animal science via national competition, then
WE WANT YOU!

The University of Nebraska - Lincoln Meats Quiz Bowl Team is a fun, interactive group, centered around friendly competition. Any ag major is invited to join us, beginning in January, for evening bi-weekly meetings and practice rounds. (Food will be provided!) Meetings will be centered around teaching basic concepts of meat science and becoming familiar with current events surrounding the industry. All efforts will be paid off with a trip to the Reciprocal Meat Conference, the largest meeting of meat industry professionals in the nation sponsored by the American Meat Science Association, in mid-June. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Quiz Bowl Team will be participating in the 2016 Reciprocal Meat Conference hosted by Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas on June 19-22. Expenses for travel, lodging, and food will be provided by the department!

For past and present members, participation on the University of Nebraska - Lincoln Quizbowl Team has opened multiple lifelong memories and friends as well as promising future opportunities for careers, by having the privilege to get to know some of the brightest minds and professionals in the agriculture industry.
