2018 Block and Bridle 84th Honoree Nomination Request
2018 Block and Bridle 84th Honoree Nomination Request Monday, December 11, 2017
The University of Nebraska Block and Bridle Club are requesting nominations for the 84th annual Block and Bridle Honoree. Nominations are encouraged from across the state of Nebraska for an individual who has contributed outstanding leadership and is a vital asset to the Nebraska animal industries.
As an Agriculture Industry leader, we ask for your assistance in identifying deserving recipients for this prestigious award and invite you to nominate an individual whom you feel fits the criteria. The 2018 nomination information is enclosed for your reference. Please feel free to forward nomination information to interested individuals who may not have received this letter. Nomination materials must be returned to Andi Hallberg, Block and Bridle Club Office Contact, A224 Animal Science Department, Lincoln, NE 68583-0908, by February 2nd, 2018. Remember, a new and updated application needs to be submitted for nominees to be considered; so we can identify the most deserving candidate utilizing their most current accomplishments in the animal industry.
A committee composed of the Block and Bridle Club officers and Animal Science Department faculty will review the nominations and make the selection. The Honoree will be presented with a special portrait at this year’s Block and Bridle Club Honors Banquet, where he or she will be the guest of honor. The Honoree’s portrait will be permanently displayed in the Animal Science building on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus with the portraits of those honored in previous years. This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Innovation Campus Banquet Hall.
