This conference is open to the public; anyone may attend! About the Presenters Andy Moorman, AQHA Professional Horseman Andy Moorman has spent decades training both horses and riders. Over the years she has coached some of the countries most successful riders. Her students have won numerous World, Congress, Honor Roll and USEF championships in many disciplines and classes. Based in Flordia, her experience in the Quarter Horse industry started with barrel racing and evolved into pattern classes, western, English and over fences. Originally from West Virgina, Moorman attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and has been based in the state ever since. She's a firm believer in the good that comes from studying riding: there's always room for improvement, no matter how good a rider you become. She is a tremednously popular clinician with her straightforward teaching style and useful exercises for both horse and rider. Kathy Anderson, PhD, has been with UNL since 1991. She teaches equine related courses in the Animal Science Department, oversees the 4-H Horse Program and conducts educational programming for Nebraska's horse producers. Also, she is a carded judges for AQHA, APHA and NSBA. Cindy A. Martens, was raised in Southwest Iowa. She spent 2 years at Chadron State College pursuing Animal Science then transferred to Scottsdale College in Scottsdale, AZ to pursuit and Equine Science degree. She continued on to Arizona State University with a BS in Agribusiness. During this time, Cindy worked on rotation with several large equine farms involving numerous major breeds. Ms. Martens then worked in Scottsdale, AZ for 10 years with an Equine Internal Medicine and Lameness Veterinary Clinic as the pharmaceutical manager. The while at the veterinary clinic she integrated rehabilitation and designed feeding programs for surgical and rehabilitation cases, as well as managed a 20 stall professional facility. For the last 3 years, Cindy has been the Farmstore Territory Manager for the Greater Omaha area with Cargill Animal Nutrition supporting the Nutrition supporting the Nutrena brand of equine feeds.
