Animal Science Block and Bridle Scholarships

Mike Cull Judging and Activities Scholarship
The Cull Family established this award to commemorate the lifeof Mike, an Animal Science major who graduated in 1986. He was on the1984 Livestock Judging Team and was President of the Block & BridleClub. This award is made to an outstanding undergraduate student in theDepartment of Animal Science, whose breadth of achievement and serviceexemplify Mike's spirit. Don Geweke Memorial Award
Don was a 1964 graduate of Ord High School and a senior at Universityof Nebraska at the time of his death. The fund was established in 1969 by Don's father, Lloyd Geweke, in support of the Annual Block and Bridle Livestock Judging Contest. The award is to go to the first and second place winners in the Senior Division and the winner of the Junior Division.

Parr Young Senior Merit Award
This fund was established in 1976 by Mrs. Parr Young, Murray, Nebraskato provide a merit award, to a senior Block and Bridle Club member whohas demonstrated scholarly attributes, leadership in the Clubactivities and in extracurricular activities in the University.
